Get off the beaten track and visit some of "real" Mexico - small traditional villages where life takes place largely as it has for centuries. This tour will take you to meet local villagers and ranchers, and learn about their way of life.
Start out from the 300 year old colonial town of El Tuito, and head into the Sierra Madre. Drive the back roads and trails, passing livestock on the roadways and beautiful mountain scenery, to Tino's Hacienda El Divisadero, located in the village of Guasimas We'll explore this incredible hacienda and villas, surrounded by an agave plantation where the local ranchers will show us how they make Raicilla (a local moonshine unique to Puerto Vallarta).
At the hacienda, we'll eat a delicious Mexican lunch, and you can walk a path to see ancient Indian Petro glyphs. If we're lucky, we may see the famous dancing horses of the hacienda or get to feed the local parrots! Our next stop is the natural hot springs of Agua Caliente, a fresh and warm natural mineral bath where we can soak in the pure waters.
The tour continues as we explore the small villages of Chacala and Mascotita, where local villagers are going on about their daily lives. This is a great way to explore areas and villages you would never see if you didn't take this tour. A real cultural experience!
We then proceed to one of the most beautiful vista points in all of Mexico – Yelapa Tapa. This is the launching point for the hang gliders that soar over the remote, oceanfront village of Yelapa. The view from Yelapa Tapa looking down at Yelapa Bay will take your breath away.
This tour is for the true ATV enthusiast who wants to have an experience to remember.
